Kelvin Suter accused of sexually abusing an 8-year-old girl; authorities asking potential victims to come forward

Just a reminder: Catholic priests aren’t the only ones accused of sexually abusing children. Earlier this week, a Platte County judge bound over 47-year-old Kelvin Suter for trial on accusations that he sexually abused an 8-year-old girl. Suter is accused of committing statutory sodomy, videotaping the abuse, possessing child porn and failing to register as a sex offender. 

Now Platte County authorities are seeking other potential victims of Suter’s, saying that he hung out in the pool at the Willow Lake Apartments near Northwest 61st and I-29 during the summer of 2010 and may have had contact with other young girls.
