KC’s Catch-22: Residents like living here, don’t think much of basic services

- Kansas City
- KC’s latest citizen survey delivers mixed results.
Kansas City, Missouri, municipal leaders on Thursday spent some time patting themselves on the back, pleased that a citizen survey showed 75 percent of respondents agreeing that KC was a good place to live. The survey, conducted by Olathe’s ETC Institute, shows an improvement of more than 5 percent over the last such survey.
Not a bad result, though one has to wonder how many people disliked living in Kansas City enough to leave before they could take the survey.
