KCPD detective Josette Young arrested for DUI after wrecking unmarked cop car, puking

If TV isn’t lying to me, Internal Affairs isn’t the most popular department on the force. So Kansas City Internal Affairs detective Josette R. Young‘s arrest for wrecking an unmarked police car and driving under the influence last weekend isn’t going to endear her to her colleagues.

A witness saw Young driving northbound on U.S. 169 Highway in a 2002 Ford Crown Victoria Friday night around 11:45. She allegedly tried to pass another car, lost control, went through the median, crossed the southbound lanes and went off the road, coming to a stop. Luckily, no one was hurt.
