KC Tenants host ‘Yeehaw!’ benefit featuring Caleb Hearon, Waxahatchee, Beth Stelling, and more
On Saturday, November 23, the Kansas City Tenants Union will host the 3rd annual Yeehaw!: A Benefit for Kansas City at The Midland.
Hosted by Missouri’s own Caleb Hearon and Katie Crutchfield of Waxahatchee, with performances by Beth Stelling, Briston Maroney, The Salvation Choir, and Samia, as well as some secret surprise guests, this benefit show is not one to miss.
In the last two years Yeehaw! has raised close to $30k in support of KC Tenants.
“Money raised helps KC Tenants pay for operational costs like meeting spaces, supplies for rallies and canvasses, and much more,” says event producer Anna Weis. “KC Tenants is currently supporting Quality Hill Towers and Independence Tower Unions in the country’s first-ever rent strike to target FHFA. Without financial support it would be impossible to keep fighting for tenants like them.”
After selling out The Ship in 2022 and The Truman in 2023, Yeehaw! has once again found itself a bigger home this year at The Midland.
“Kansas City has turned out year after year, selling out each venue we are in. It’s incredible to see people’s enthusiasm for their city and the Tenant Union,” says Weis. “We want to match that energy by continuing to grow and adding more top-tier guests. It’s turning into an annual giant celebration of all the things that make KC so special.”
Weis promises a night of “LOTS of living, laughing, and loving! A can’t-miss, high-energy, celebration that you’ll tell your grandkids about.”
Don’t miss out on this chance to support the community. Tickets are still available, starting at $30, but they won’t be for much longer.
