KC Repertory Theatre invites military personnel to a free performance of a gay play

The theater has a well-known reputation for attracting the gays. The American military, on the other hand, has a history of rejecting them.

But now that the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy banning gays from serving openly in the military has been repealed, men and women in uniform can attend gay-themed theatrical events without worrying about sullying their reputations (and possibly their military careers). So, gather up members of the armed forces for a local production that couldn’t be more timely.
