KC Psych Fest is back this October at RecordBar

It started in May two years ago, when the co-founders of art-music-DIY space FOKL decided that they wanted to get together a handful of underheard local acts – some of which tended toward psych rock. A common interest and a little bit of organizing, and KC Psych Fest was born. 

This year, the fest moves to RecordBar, reassigned to a fall weekend: Friday, October 10, and Saturday, October 11. Confirmed acts so far include Gringo Star, White Mystery, Monta at Odds, Magic Castles, the Conquerors, and more. The website describes the event as “a two-day mind expansion festival filled with lights and sounds,” so prepare yourself.
