Police gave this account: Officers were near Truman and Indiana around 10:22 p.m. when a small sport utility vehicle nearly struck their police vehicle. The officers pursued the SUV, which was driven by a woman (described as in her twenties), but she wouldn’t stop. Officers followed the SUV to 31st and Terrace, where the woman turned south on Terrace from 31st Street and stopped at a dead end. The officers exited their vehicles and the woman allegedly turned her SUV around and drove at the officers. The officers shot the woman and killed her.
