KC Pet Project pushes $3.65 animal adoptions for ‘brat summer’

This August 1-4 the KC Pet Project is celebrating Brat Summer with a 365 adoption event. All adult dogs over 30 lbs and adult cats will sell at $3.65. Charli XCX’s new record has caused a frenzy on social media, and what better way to celebrate everyone’s “favorite reference” than to get a brat of your own? The price reflects the iconic song “365” from the album.
So you can add to your family without dipping into the “Sweat Tour” funds.

“It’s been a tough summer for us at KC Pet Project, and we’ve decided to have some fun during this latest special. Pets bring out our bold and confident sides, making life more fun and spontaneous. By offering $3.65 adoptions, we hope to inspire our community to open their hearts and homes to a pet in need,” says Chief Communications Officer at KC Pet Project, Tori Fugate. The animal rescue’s kennel space has been flooded with four-legged friends waiting to find their forever home. They’re asking people to “fall in love again and again” with these in-need pets.
The non-profit works tirelessly to get all of Kansas City’s strays into caring families. “We believe that every pet deserves a loving home, and this special promotion aims to make adoption more accessible for everyone,” says Fugate. With this price, it’s safe to say the KC Pet Project worked the finances out “on the remix.”

Brat summer is all about letting loose and having fun while loving yourself and those around you. So, if you’re “thinking about it all the time,” now is the time to “put it into speed drive” for one of the adoption centers. Hopefully, you’ll be adoptin’ that.
Prospective pet owners can capitalize on the deal at the KC Campus for Animal Care, Zona Rosa Adoption Center, Petco Adoption Centers (kitties can only be adopted at the 95th Street location), or by finding a little guy in their foster care system.
