KC Current Studio launches content creation center with Aug. 3 ribbon-cutting

The Kansas City Current announced on Monday the official opening of KC Current Studios—a first-of-its-kind production and broadcasting facility located at Current Landing, marking the next chapter in the club’s community outreach.

The Aug. 3 ribbon-cutting featured an intimate acoustic performance by Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge.

KC Current Studios includes a photo studio, podcast recording studio, video/broadcast studio, and a production control room—making it the new hub for media from the KC Current, CPKC Stadium, and Current Landing. The location will also host future broadcasting classes, workshops, and boot camps designed to inspire and develop the next generation of women in sports media.
