KC artist Michael Schliefke hosts Holiday Art Market

Satirical artist Michael Schliefke does not take much seriously. 

For the never serious and no-nonsense individuals, alike, Schliefke’s 2022 Holiday Art Market will feature oil paintings, drawings, silk-screen prints, and original T-shirts, as well as an anticipated debut of his self-proclaimed “art-adjacent” 70’s revival project, Kansas City’s Magic Shrinks.  

Schliefke’s studio, located in Northeast Kansas City, will open to the public on Saturday, November 26 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. The studio is accessible through Dec. 17, Weds through Fri, noon-7 p.m., as well as by appointment.
