Kansas to raise price of booze served in fishbowls, plastic footballs

Even the staunchest liberal might finally identify with the teabaggers when they hear Kansas is about to enforce a decades-forgotten law that says bars can’t pour more booze in a drink without increasing the price proportionally. Tax my grande loco margarita, and I shall gather my armies.
But if anything, this is an opportunity. Presumably the state’s only bothering with this because they face a budget deficit of more than $700 million and are looking for any way to collect fines. If this is successful, we finally have a chance to enforce — and cash in on — every other insane law the state’s chosen to ignore until now.
