Just when the Kansas Jayhawk family feud between the football and basketball teams had quieted down, they go and kick the football team while they’re down.

On a two-game losing skid (and facing an unpredictable Texas Tech team in Lubbock this weekend), the Jayhawk footballers got more bad news today: The Kansas men’s basketball team is No. 1 in ESPN and USA Today‘s preseason Top 25 Coaches’ Poll.

Ooh, not only are the basketball players more popular with the ladies, they’re also more popular with coaches?
