Kansas City ranks ninth on list of most-tattooed cities

A beauty website that you’ve probably never heard of is reporting something that a lot of us already knew (especially those who’ve read our recent cover story, “Kitchen Ink”): Kansas Citians loooove tattoos.

The Kansas City Business Journal’s Brian Kaberline wrote an article on totalbeauty.com’s list of most-tattooed cities in America, which ranked Kansas City ninth out of the top ten. We have about six tattoo shops per 100,000 people — more than Los Angeles, at number ten. Suck on that, Kat Von D!
