UPDATE: The story of missing 11-month-old Lisa Irwin is on the cover of the latest People magazine with the headline: “What happened to baby Lisa?” The cover promises “shocking new details.”

Original Story: Kansas City police have obtained a search warrant for the home of missing 11-month-old Lisa Irwin. The Star reports that the search “warrant bars the family from entering the home until the warrant has been executed.”

The block around the home has been closed off by police, KMBC reported this morning. KCTV5 reported that this is the first time that authorities have had control of baby Lisa’s home since day two of the investigation of the child’s disappearance.

Not sure why a search warrant was needed if, as the Star reported, baby Lisa’s parents, Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, have given signed consent for police to search their home.
