Kansas City police post unsolved homicide information online

There are still 30 unsolved Kansas City homicides from 2010, and the Kansas City Police Department is looking for help. The department has posted online reports including photos of the crime scenes and victims, detectives’ phone numbers and information about each murder.
Capt. Floyd Mitchell, commander of the homicide unit, explains on the department’s website that the KCPD is trying to strike a balance of providing as much information as possible to draw in assistance from the public without putting the investigations in jeopardy. And, yeah, there is a wide range of info available on the cases, which span from January 3 to December 6.
