Kansas City police investigating whether attack at Waldo car wash is linked to last month’s Trolley Trail rape

Kansas City police are investigating whether an attack at a car wash early Sunday morning is linked to last month’s rape on the Trolley Track Trail, the Star reported. The car wash is located at 80th Street and Wornall — one block from the Trolley Trail.

The latest attack occurred around 6 a.m. Sunday. A woman in her 20s reported being attacked by a man wearing a ski mask and dressed all in black while she prepared to vacuum her car. The attacker reportedly pushed her into the passenger seat, choked her, slammed her face against the dashboard, causing her nose to bleed, and threatened her life with a knife if she ran.
