Kansas City Police Department uses two stolen cars as a harsh teaching moment

Tommy Baker had a tough day yesterday. He’s the Kansas City resident who had two cars stolen in the span of a few hours. Thieves apparently stole his first car at a gas station (he left the car running while he was inside the station paying) and then a second vehicle that was parked in front of his home.

The Kansas City Police, who The Pitch recognized for the Best PR Move of 2012 with its Tweet-alongs, dropped a harsh hammer this afternoon on its official Twitter feed. @KCPolice linked to Baker’s story with the admonishment above. The KC Police aren’t angry with you Kansas City; they’re just disappointed.
