Kansas City native Josh Earnest rumored to be replacing Robert Gibbs

Robert Gibbs, White House Press Secretary, announced this morning that he is leaving his post in early February. While this is big news for the Obama administration as the president gears up for a re-election battle, it also could signal a promotion for Kansas City, Missouri, native Josh Earnest, a Gibbs deputy since Obama took office in January 2009.
