Kansas City, Missouri, City Council passes meaningless resolution against NFL lockout

A potential lockout between NFL players and owners has the Kansas City, Missouri, City Council chiming in with a meaningless resolution opposing a work stoppage.

The labor issues between owners and players are likely going to come to a head after this season. So before we even know if there’s a work stoppage, the city council is adopting a resolution for the lamely named “Don’t Mess With Success” organization of “football fans and community leaders.”
