Kansas City man can’t buy into the World Series of Poker

A Kansas City player was one of about 500 people rejected by the World Series of Poker. Too many people signed up, and 39-year-old Tyler Meierotto couldn’t buy into the tournament after failing to win his way in. He also waited too long to enter.

From the Associated Press:

“I’ve been grinding away trying to win my way in… I woke up this morning, came to buy in and they were like ‘Sorry,” Meierotto said.

Time to fold ’em.
