The list generator, which at times can seem like a well-crafted homage to search-engine optimization (you got me, I’m linking), deems Kansas City “a cosmopolitan playground perfect for lovers to explore.” But if you’re looking for somewhere romantic to stay, Livability unintentionally sends you out to Kansas City, Kansas, with Chateau Avalon, where every room “comes with a Jacuzzi for two.” For those who prefer the company of a good book to a date in the hot tub, you’re not alone. Kansas City was ranked the second best city for book lovers.
