Kansas City Chiefs release full 2013 schedule; first home game against Dallas Cowboys

The Kansas City Chiefs released the team’s full 2013 schedule Thursday evening. First, the bad news: The Chiefs won’t play Monday night. That’s not much of a surprise. A 2-14 record pretty much guaranteed that the Chiefs wouldn’t be playing in prime time on ESPN.

The good news: The Chiefs play head coach Andy Reid’s old team, the Philadelphia Eagles, on the road Thursday night on the NFL Network in week three (September 19).

Kansas City opens on the road against Jacksonville and returns home in week two (September 15) against the Dallas Cowboys. As for the rivalry games, the Chiefs host the Raiders on October 13, the Chargers on November 24 and the Broncos on December 1. Read on for the full schedule.
