Kansas City Among the Least Expensive Stops On Rolling Stones Zip Code Tour
Just this past Sunday May 24, the Rolling Stones kicked-off their North American Tour with their first concert in San Diego’s Petco Park. According to international ticket reseller Ticketbis, the San Diego show has so far been the best selling among the Zip Code shows despite the high prices. In fact, fans have paid up to $380 on the secondary market to see the rock legends in action. Luckily, it seems the fans got their money’s worth as the show received tons of raving reviews.
According to Rolling Stone magazine, the band started off with a performance of “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” where members “emerged in color-coordinated outfits and closed with fireworks as they played the infamous “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”. Fans were proud to see that Mick Jagger is still going strong at 71 seeming to have virtually the same energy he had when performing in his 20’s. At the same time, the chemistry between Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood seems to be better than ever.
Their next show will be taking place in Ohio Stadium in Columbus. According to Ticketbis, tickets to see the Rolling Stones in Ohio are cheaper than any of the other shows listed on the secondary market with prices starting at $110. Yet considering the overwhelmingly positive reviews for their first concert, fans could see prices rise as attending what could be one of the band’s last tours becomes ever more tempting.
After Columbus, shows in Indianapolis and Kansas City will be the most economic options for fans since they can get get tickets for as low as $130 and $134, respectively. On the other hand, the most expensive cities to see the Rolling Stones will be Orlando, Florida with tickets starting at $220 and Buffalo, New York with one ticket left on Ticketbis listed at $404.
Despite the differences in prices, Stones fans know that no matter what city they chose to see the band live, it will make very little difference to the overall experience. After all, they are the legends of Rock’n Roll who have been putting on outstanding performances for more than half a century.
