Juan DeLeon named a person of interest in the death of Leeya Wiseman-Guzman: Killa City homicide 38

Kansas City police want to talk to Juan DeLeon, who they’re calling a “person of interest” in the death of 23-month-old Leeya Wiseman-Guzman.

The Jackson County Medical Examiner has ruled Wiseman-Guzman’s death a homicide, noting that the child died from “blunt force trauma.”

On Monday, Wiseman-Guzman could not be resuscitated by ambulance personnel who responded to a home in the 1400 block of Bellefontaine.

DeLeon, 25, was allegedly standing over the child’s body and was “visibly upset and nervous” and was overheard telling EMTs, “I’ve gotta get out of here.”
