Jonathan Whitworth’s lawsuit against SWAT team that killed his pit bull heads to mediation

Jonathan Whitworth‘s lawsuit against the members of a SWAT team that shot and killed his pit bull and held his 7-year-old

son at gunpoint last February is headed to mediation.

The Columbia Daily Tribune reported that the case was reassigned and could be “on a fast-track to disposition pending the success

of mediation.”

However, a date for the mediation to begin has yet to be set. Whitworth’s lawsuit stemmed from a horrific

police raid that was videotaped and put on YouTube (watch it after the jump).
