John McCain likes Jerry Moran more than Todd Tiahrt’s hair

Todd Tiahrt’s hair got the endorsement of super moralist Bill Bennett and former Republican Speaker Denny Hastert. But it didn’t get the endorsement of U.S. Sen. John McCain, who endorsed Jerry Moran for U.S. Senate (after Sam Brownback failed to call quack-quack seat back on his Senate seat, per Senate protocal).

McCain likes Moran because of his “proven record of fiscal responsibility” and his fearlessness in the face of “wasteful earmarks.”

“With government spending levels reaching record highs and trust in Washington, D.C., reaching record lows, we need a leader of courage and integrity like Jerry Moran to help get our country back on track.”

Moran and Tiahrt are both members of “The Family.” Dinner time must be awkward.
