There are some issues that you’d think folks would agree on. Take puppy mills that put profits above the welfare of the dogs. They suck, right?
Someone should step in and protect the animals. Or at least, put regulations on commercial breeders to make sure they’re giving the dogs food and clean water, vet care, exercise, shelter and rest
between breeding cycles. That’s what Proposition B or the “Puppy
Mill Cruelty Prevention Act” would do.
Hell no, says “animal welfare” group Alliance For Truth, an anti-Prop B group claims
the legislation is part of the Humane Society’s “radical agenda” to
make adopting dogs more difficult for average Joes.
