Jerry Moran, out to prove he’s right (enough) for Kansas, turns to immigration

Along with calling in Teabagging specialist U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint for back-up, Jerry Moran is taking to the airwaves to prove he’s the most right man for the job of replacing Sen. Sam Brownback, and he’s leaning on one key issue to do it: Immigration.

With conservatives questioning his conservatism, Moran — in a tight primary race against fellow congressman Todd Tiahrt — is running radio ads promising to close the borders, and is banging on the Obama Administration for suing Arizona over its controversial immigration law.
