Six members of a $3.5 million sports gambling ring with ties to the Kansas City Crime Family found out their sentences on Thursday. Here’s how it all shook out:
Gerlarmo “Jerry” Cammisano, who pleaded guilty in April to running the whole operation, was sentenced to 14 months in federal prison without
parole. He was also ordered to forfeit $201,137 and two

alleged that Cammisano was running the operation with James J. Moretina;Michael J. Lombardo; and James
L. Dicapo, working under him as bookmakers.
Prosecutors alleged they ran an Internet gambling ring that took in
$3,584,895 in wagers between March 2006 to April 2009 using a Costa Rican 1-800
number and website.
