Jeremy Mott homicide: Balanca’s to close for 45 days following shooting

After 20-year-old Jeremy Mott was found dead last  weekend outside Balanca’s, at the corner of 18th Street and Grand, his friends and family blamed the club for poor security, allowing underage patrons in the door and being unable to stop fights.

Now Balanca’s owner Lori Burroughs has agreed to close the bar for 45 days.
