James Noel admits sexually abusing and torturing ‘sex slave’ with a ‘crank phone’

Using a crank phone to torture a 20-year-old woman was “extremely painful,” James Noel admitted in his guilty plea today. Noel noted that the woman hated being electrocuted with a crank phone, but he and other men used the device to torture her anyway.

Noel, 45, pleaded guilty in federal court to his role in a sex-trafficking conspiracy in which a mentally deficient woman

was coerced into being a sex slave for several years. The woman was tortured in a trailer home in a wooded area near Lebanon, Missouri.
