James Kemp hit with eight felony counts in Trolley Trail attacks

For the last two months, Waldo has been reliving some of the old familiar tension that was in the air when the “Waldo rapist” was breaking into women’s homes. Two sexual assaults along the Trolley Trail were reportedly tied to the same man. Today, Jackson County prosecutors announced multiple felony counts against the person they think is responsible.

James Kemp, 23, of KC, is facing eight felony counts in connection with attacks on the trail, including forcible sodomy, kidnapping, first degree robbery, and four counts of armed criminal action.
