​Tip: Don’t go flaunting your thousand dollar tax return. A Wendy’s employee found out the hard way when two of her fellow employees, twin sisters, allegedly plotted to rob her and staged a carjacking at a gas station at 3027 Van Brunt.

Here’s the set up: A robbery victim believes that twin sisters Letika N. and Letia M. Turner set her up to be robbed of her $1,900 tax return in a staged carjacking on Monday.

The robbery victim worked with the Turner sisters at a Wendy’s. They had all walked to a gas station at 3027 Van Brunt. There, Letia Turner saw the victim pull money out of an envelope that had her tax refund, and she asked to borrow $5. The robbery victim didn’t give her the five spot, but later agreed to pay her $5 in exchange for a ride home. That’s when it all went down.
