Jamaal Charles kicked Tim Tebow’s ass in Madden cover battle; next up, Maurice Jones-Drew

Jamaal Charles is one step closer to being on the cover of Madden ’12 football. The Kansas City Chiefs running back easily disposed of Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow in the fan vote (64 percent to 34 percent).

Charles was gracious in victory, telling ESPN: “I’m surprised, and it’s scary at the same time … it’s blowing me away. I had tweeted: ‘Who do you think is going to win the round between me and Tim Tebow?’ But I never thought it was going to be me.”
