Jacob Pullen makes the regional Sports Illustrated cover

Kansas, are you a Wildcat state? We’ll find out at the Sunflower Showdown on January 29 and Valentine’s Day. State hoops has been all Jayhawks for so long, but Kansas State’s recent success is changing perceptions.

K-State guard Jacob Pullen (he of the awesome beard) is on the cover of the regional Sports Illustrated college basketball preview. It’s kind of a big deal.

The issue comes out tomorrow. By the way, the Wildcats are ranked third. The Jayhawks are seventh.
