Iron Maiden, Train, Idina Menzel, Conor Oberst all on the way to KC

With spring tours on the horizon, the announcements are coming in waves. Random, random waves.

Iron Maiden hits the Sprint Center on July 11 as part of its “Book of Souls” world tour. (We enjoy this promo photo very much, by the way.) Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. next Saturday, January 28, via LiveNation’s website; you can get in on a presale via Iron Maiden’s website

For something a little different — as in adult contemporary — there’s always Train. That band comes to Starlight Theatre on July 3, touring with Natasha Bedingfield. Tickets for that one go up at 10 a.m. next Friday, January 27, via LiveNation’s website.

Broadway and Disney megastar Idina Menzel will also be at Starlight on August 16, as part of her world tour. She will sing a mix of original material and Broadway classics. Tickets go on sale next Friday, January 27, via Starlight’s website

Finally, singer-songwriter and man of many bands Conor Oberst will be at the Madrid Theatre on March 11. Tickets are available this Saturday at 10 a.m. via the Madrid’s site
