Insound Offers Mixtape T-Shirt

Online indie music retailer Insound added a new shirt to their store this week. It’s a mixtape t-shirt, which they describe as follows:

Mixtapes are an invaluable way to show the world your excellent taste in music and express your pain, joy, love, etc through the tapestry of songs included. Now that physical mixtapes are becoming a bit more scarce, Insound’s come up with a way for you to share your love of curated mixology outside the bounds of the 90-minute spools.

Our Mixtape shirt series, featuring Best Love Songs, Best Breakup Songs and a blank design all screened under the watchful eye of Andy Dixon, allow you to write out a personalized mix on the back of the shirt and share it with the world! We provide the shirt and marker and you fill it out with your ideal playlist.

Totally cool, right? Well, yeah…if it hadn’t been for the fact that R. Stevens over at Diesel Sweeties has offered a similar (if simpler) idea for years now:

Parties go a lot smoother with a clearly-labelled DJ. There’s space inside the image area to customize it and name your mix with a laundry marker if you like.

Can they exist side-by-side? Do I really need another t-shirt, much less two?
