Incoming: Girl Talk at Abe & Jake’s, October 1

Girl Talk plays Abe & Jake’s Landing in Lawrence on October 1. It’s a cavernous pit of a room, with terrible acoustics, but the place is like a goddamn airplane hanger, so you should really go to see hundreds of people lose their shit to Gregg Gillis’ jams.

Tickets went on sale today, and pricing is as follows: $10 for KU Student Saver pass holders, $15 for KU students with KUID, and $20 for the general public. According to SUA live events coordinator Tom Johnson, tickets are already going fast. You’ll have to buy them at the SUA box office in the Kansas Union on the KU campus, so you may want to find a Lawrence friend, to avoid having to make the drive.
