Incoming: Danger Bob at the Bottleneck, October 17

Proving that Facebook is good for something other than a glorified Twitter feed and pictures of my friends on vacation, the following announcement from Danger Bob showed up in the wee small hours of Saturday morning:
First Official Announcement

The Bottleneck
More news coming…
This means that pretty much all my favorite local bands have played reunion shows over the past year and a half or so: Tanka Ray, Kosher, O’Phil, Ultimate Fakebook, the Creature Comforts, and now Danger Bob. If someone can convince the Main Street Saints and Kelly’s Heroes to play a double-bill reunion, I think that’ll pretty much mean that I’m officially reliving my early twenties.
Stay tuned for further details. The last time the Bob played live was the summer of 2003. That show was Danger Bob & the Mollyphonic Spree, wherein a couple dozen of the band’s friends joined them as a backing choir, a la the Polyphonic Spree. It was insane, and probably one of the most epic reunion shows I’ve ever seen. Danger Bob doesn’t do things by halves, so do make room on your social calendar for this.
