Incoming: Bon Jovi @ Sprint Center

On March 15, 2010, beautiful-man rock band Bon Jovi returns to the Sprint Center as part of a nearly two-year, 135-show, 30-country and four-planet (counting Jupiter’s moon Europa) tour that is being billed as The Circle World Tour. The East Rutherford, NJ, band played the same stage in April of 2008, where they were joined by opener, Levi-filling cueball Chris Daughtry, for a rendition of the 1990 hit “Wanted: Blazin’ Glories.” The crowd went nuts!
When Bon Jovi frontman John Francis Bongiovi Jr. was asked during a Circle Tour press conference how he would withstand the sulfuric-acid atmosphere, intense pressure and 800°(F) temperature on Venus, where the band is scheduled to put in an August 16, 2010, performance near the Ariadne Crater, Bongiovi responded, “Well, my looks have gotten me this far. Plus, nearly all the Venusian surface landmarks are named after mythological and historical women, so I should do just fine.”
