Kim Oursler uses different types of tarot decks for different purposes. “The spiral tarot has the major arcana — cups, swords, stones and so on,” she explains. “And I also use a deck called the goddess oracle, which is all goddess imagery, no arcana. That’s what I use to get some of the patterning. Then, the spiral tarot gives me details, so people can kind of apply — if they choose — what the cards are saying.” Her Tuesday readings, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Aquarius Books (3936 Broadway, 816-931-6303), cost $10 for 10 minutes or $55 for an hourlong consultation.
