In Missouri, Sarah Palin is Democrats’ only hope in 2012

If you’re inclined to believe one pollster 22 months before the election — and why wouldn’t you be? — Missouri could be a hard-fought battleground state in 2012’s presidential election, or it could be a landslide in either direction. It all depends on which weirdo wins the Republican nomination.

And let’s all agree, regardless of politics: These are some goofy bastards the GOP is running out there. (OK, we probably can’t all agree. That would be neat, though, eh?)
