Hopslam Ale on tap today at Flying Saucer and Bier Station

If you’ve been dying for a taste of Hopslam Ale, head to Flying Saucer Draught Emporium now or Bier Station after work. The long-awaited Bell’s Brewery winter seasonal is on tap at both establishments starting today.
Flying Saucer (101 East 13th Street) sent a tweet over the noon hour that Hopslam was already pouring in the Power & Light District restaurant.
Bier Station (120 East Gregory Boulevard) tweeted that the Hopslam starts flowing at 5 p.m.
Bell’s website tracks where you can find Hopslam. However, the list doesn’t account for stores, such as Cellar Rat, that have already sold out of their allotment of the hoppy brew with 10 percent alcohol.
What’s so special about Hopslam? Beer Advocate gave it a score of 100, a world-class rating.
Double bonus if you drop by Flying Saucer: They’re tapping a firkin and a regular draft of Schlafly American IPA at 7 p.m. The Missouri brewery’s beer received an “outstanding” grade from Beer Advocate (a 94 score), so definitely worth a try.
