Hershel from The Walking Dead is coming to Crypticon Kansas City; and Panic Fest returns to Screenland Armour

Hershel Greene lost his head in  the midseason finale of The Walking Dead – and the AMC hit lost its moral compass. But Scott Wilson, the man who made Hershel so likable, is coming to Kansas City for this year’s Crypticon horror convention August 15-17.

This year’s Crypticon will take place at the Ramada Kansas City Hotel and Convention Center (1601 North Universal Avenue). Wilson headlines a guest list that includes Eric Roberts, Kane Hodder (Jason Vorhees of Friday the 13th), C. Thomas Howell and more.

Tickets are available through Crypticon’s website

And for some more immediate frights, our friends at the Screenland Armour are throwing another Panic Fest January 31 through February 2.

The film list includes House of Forbidden Secrets, Here Comes the Devil, Space Balls, Serenity, Deep Red, Pinup Dolls on Ice (and a Q&A with the director) and more. For ticket information, click here
