Here is a video of a little boy in a mustard costume falling on his face twice during the Royals’ Hot Dog Derby race yesterday

The Kansas City Royals’ Hot Dog Derby — where three people dressed as ketchup, mustard and relish run a race between innings during home games — is usually good, clean fun. During yesterday’s game against the San Francisco Giants, the race consisted of three small children in condiment costumes. For one of the children — WHO WILL REMAIN NAMELESS — the contest took a most unfortunate turn mid-run, when the mustard pants he’d been given began to fall from his tiny child waist, at which point he toppled over in front of the crowd. At that point, a field producer in a headset rushed over to help him. The boy got back up and continued the race, but — it gives me no pleasure to report this — a few steps later he once again fell on his face, in the dirt. Are you a sadist? Yes? Then maybe you will enjoy watching this.
