Help furry friends while getting a dose of metal at Aftershock on April 30

Disabled Furry Friends, a local organization, needs your monetary help. The Kansas City, Kansas, charity provides medical care for animal owners who can’t afford necessary, lifesaving surgeries.

Support the organization (and local bands) at the Second Annual Metal for Mutts at Aftershock in Shawnee, Kansas. The April 30 show starts at 8 p.m., and doors open at 7 p.m. The event costs $5 for those 21 and older, $8 for those under 21. All proceeds from the show will go to Disabled Furry Friends. Bands performing include Burning Tide, Caucasian Debris, the Sybil, Forever Greye, and Jolly Roger.
