Help A.J. Gaither OMB get his van fixed

If you’ve been fortunate enough to see A.J. Gaither live, you know well what a hard-working, hard-playing musician he is. The one-man band puts an astounding amount of energy into every performance, accomplishing his sound with a variety of instruments that he makes himself. But even the most DIY of artists need a little help sometimes.

Recently, Gaither’s tour van quit on him – after he’d spent a large portion of his earnings on repairs, and a month before leaving for a tour in April. To help raise funds for a replacement transmission, Gaither has turned to the popular campaign platform Go Fund Me.

“I’m out of money, short on time, and want nothing more than to be out there on the highway, playing my music for new faces,” Gaither writes on the Go Fund Me page. “Without a reliable van there is no tour, I also can’t make local gigs, which is my only source of income.”

He continues: “While I dig it when fans, friends, and family can show support the old fashioned way by attending shows and purchasing copies of one of my albums or t-shirts, or drop a few bucks in the tip bucket, I am exploring all options.”

Gaither is more than halfway to his $4,000 goal, and he has plenty of swag and perks listed on the campaign page. To learn more or donate, go here
