Helen Ragan, KCMO homicide 34: Mother of four killed by stray bullet

A stray bullet killed 38-year-old Helen Ragan at 11815 Holiday Monday night.

Several shots were fired outside of Ragan’s home, and one of the bullets

struck and killed Ragan inside her home around 9:52 p.m. 

KMBC Channel 9 reports that Ragan was at home with her husband and four sons at the time of the shooting. She was a school bus driver.
