Hector Moralez

Hector Moralez is a busy man. There’s the touring: Paris, Chicago, Madrid, Seattle, London, San Francisco, Barcelona — and Kansas City. There are the albums, both his solo discs and those released with French DJ and producer Phil Weeks as the duo Fries and Bridges. Yet the acclaimed DJ still finds time to be a geeky record-store employee, monitoring the inventory and managing Primal Records in Berkeley, California. But the Bay area native is most at home behind the decks, spinning in the acid-house scene. He’s back in town for a brief respite from his F&B duties before he heads back to Paris or San Francisco or wherever. Point is, you gotta catch him while you can.
