Happy Fountain Day!

Guessing you didn’t get today off for the Fountain Day holiday, did you?

BlogKC reminds us that the city’s 47 fountains get turned on today, starting with a ceremony (really) at the Thomas H. Swope Memorial Fountain kicking off at 11 a.m. The Swope Fountain is pretty cool since it’s one of the two solar-powered fountains in the city.
